If you're looking for the okayest room for an economical price, this is fine. Lots of construction-related vehicles outside always means that the property will be satisfactory for people traveling on a budget with no expectations of luxury, and there are a lot of us who do that. The property is better than most like it, staff is friendly, there are places to eat nearby, the area seems safe, and the rooms are neat. All the important things are taken care of and i would stay there again. The owners are doing the best they can with the legacy issues of the property, and I respect that.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean but the air conditioner didn’t work well. We had it on 60 and it was still hot in there. The tv was very glitchy. Beds are not very comfortable. A lot of people hanging around in the parking lot.

The room was clean and the pillows and sheets were good and didn't carry odors. The property is very well located and is a great launching point for many activities in the Charleston area That being said, the facility is dated and the AC was inconsistent. For the price, it's hard to argue against for a solo traveler.

I normally wouldn’t stay at Red Roof, but we ended up having to stay longer for work. All others were booked. For what it was, the staff was very friendly and the room was really clean. Area not the greatest and grounds could use some freshing up.
