"You have to understand Charleston is expensive. Venue is aBeautiful unique hotel... stayed across the street from the main hotel in an underground room with no windows. Five nights $2100 European size which means very very small but it was decorated to the nines. People were very nice. The Griffin bar next-door is fabulous... the main hotel has a funky bar on the roof that really doesn't fit the hotel but it's cool.,, every morning you get a little bag hung on your door with two muffins a banana and an apple. Every day exactly the same they should change it a little. Other than that there were so many great hotels in Charleston and this is one of them."
"This hotel was in a great location, super cool, and a fun vibe ! -Clean and very nice rooms. The staff, only one in particular, a guy checking me in, was not helpful. But I would stay here again for sure !"
"The perfect place to stay while visiting Charleston. Staff was friendly and informative. The Swamp Fox Restaurant and Bar was great and the waiter Eric really made eating special. We will definitely stay there again."
"Very nice property close to everything either a walk away or quick uber ride. Staff were very helpful with tour arrangement and dinner recommendations. Was only here for a long weekend but would definitely recommend. I am very picky with hotel accommodations and this spot did not disappoint. Also a plus to have a coffee shop and restaurant downstairs."

"Hotel was in a perfect location. Beautiful, clean but please for the love of god...stop installing barn doors on bathrooms. There is absolutely no privacy! The pillows were a downside as well. No support, flat as a sheet of paper! The pool was a little disappointing. Its small and maybe about 20 chairs at best, so you need to be there very early to grab a chair. It was pretty sad watching families with children not be able to get a seat so the kids could enjoy the pool. I would stay here again though!"
