This property is absolutely stunning.
We travelled from Massachusetts with 3 different generations. The layout was perfect for that because there was a lovely bedroom on the main floor with a TV for my parents. They didn’t have to deal with stairs at all. The layout on bottom floor was also perfect for the 14-21 year olds traveling with us. They had their own bunk room , bathroom and living room. This is also where the second bedroom for my husband and I was located .
Back to the main floor. There was a beautiful well appointed kitchen. It had everything you would need to cook any kind of meal . There is a dining area but we didn’t use it much because we spent a lot of time around the kitchen island or deck . The bathroom on the main floor is beautiful but THE SHOWER, it’s amazing. I don’t even know how I’ll go back to an ordinary shower. There is also a living room area that faced a huge window toward the water. The star of the show is the DECK. Gorgeous sunsets , family meals and laughs around the fire pit.
The neighborhood is lovely too, and we saw deer every day. We took early morning walks with our coffee, visited the wharf and the beach. Perfection…. So peaceful.
Mark, the host , was so great. Just a text away when needed and he really thought of everything with this property. We’ve stayed at a lot of places over the years and there’s always something a property is lacking. Not here ! This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at.
