Little Creek Casino Resort

"What a fun weekend! Went with another couple, golf at the near-by golf course and ate dinner at the casino. Only complaint - one in our party ordered a Manhattan cocktail. They charged extra for the the whiskey. That is the main ingredient in a Manhattan and if you don't have the whiskey what kind of cocktail to you have? This was not explained when they ordered the cocktail and the cocktail ended up being like $22.00. When the manager came to explain while the drink cost so much, he tried to say "due to inflation". Not a good explanation to a customer that just had a way over priced cocktail!"

"The rooms are clean.The staff are awesome, the breakfast my husband loves. They have the fresh omelets every morning. The whole everyone is very polite here. They're helpful. The hot tug is great. Everything is indoors, and that's also a plus 4 being in Washington. God bless, and I hope you're doing Em. Bye."

"The room was very clean. The bathroom has enough supplies. It’s very convenient because there is a microwave, a small coffee maker with coffee and sugar and some cups. It’s walking distance to go and buy some food. Also if you love fishing like us bring your fishing poles for fun. There is a lake right in front of the Inn."

"My only 4-star factor referred to the staff. The woman who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful. The only shock was when she told me to drop my key in the box outside in the morning, because nobody would be at the desk. Not "if" or "just in case." It is their policy to have nobody man the desk in the morning. Or maybe they are short of staff and couldn't have someone that day. But she sounded as if that's the normal case. The room was clean and well-lit, to the point that I thought they were accommodating students who needed to do homework. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortably firm. I was able to park right outside the door, a feature I look for in a motel, though I did have to walk around a low (waist-high) concrete wall to get from my car to the room and back. I think it's a flood wall, with removable panels that let us walk through, but can be installed to protect the building in an emergency. This was maybe the closest motel to home that I've stayed in I was just too tired to finish the drive. But yes, if I need to find a room in the Centralia area again, I'll try the Varsity Inn first."

"This hotel was exactly what I hoped it would be! Historic with communal baths down the hallway and a room with a soft comfortable bed. It was like going back in time. And to have food and beverage right below, what a bonus! I will definitely stay here again. I enjoyed it that much."
