8.6/10 Excellent! (1,109 reviews)
We stayed at Hotel deLuxe during our stay in Portland & it was decent. It has an interior aesthetic based on Old Hollywood & a bar that’s got a speakeasy feel. The standard rooms are a bit quaint, but fine. A little old, but nothing too bad. The bed & pillows are on the softer side & the shower temperature was a little hard to adjust sometimes. Parking lot (Parc deluxe) is located right across from the hotel. They tell you to use the hotel key for ins & outs during the stay and it was $40/night (though I had a discount from Expedia!). They have a guard there in the evenings/night, and the fence gets closed at 10pm. We came back a little late one night & the front desk gave us a card & number to call to get the gate opened for us to park our car in, which was great. The speakeasy “Driftwood Room” can be charged to your room & you get 15% off as a hotel guest.
