"This property is starting to become dated. The noise levels are untolerable. Drunk people screaming at all hours. Although they say the Santa Fe is for the parties the people at this resort were very disrespectful. When I would advise the staff at the RIU they said there was nothing they could do. The food wasn’t too bad at all. "

"When my husband and I first arrived I was very hesitant of the resort, but after our stay of 5 days I was very impressed and would stay again. The resort is older and could use a little updating on the outside. Our sliding door to our balcony was broken and we locked ourselves out once because the handle was broken. Our glass on the balcony was old and couldn’t see through. And some of the plug in outlets in the room didn’t work, my phone charger kept falling out of the wall. Other than that our stay was great. Staff were absolutely amazing, 10/10! The food was all around good and they had a great variety to please everyone. It was a smaller resort so it was easy to navigate our way around. I also noticed they are very accommodating- there were many wheel chair ramps around and many kid friendly areas with baby changing stations, etc. This resort would be great for anyone to stay whether you’re wanting a family friendly stay, or a spring break trip and anything in between. Was very pleased with our stay here. "

"I stayed here for 6 days with my 3 young kids. The view from our room was amazing. Beds were comfy, room was overly big but still plenty of room for the 4 of us. The door lock was broken when we arrived, told the cleaning staff and it was promptly fixed. All the staff was very friendly. The buffet restaurant was okish for what they had, we are somewhat picky eaters but were able to find something we liked every day. The beach was ok, not your regular walk out type beach, kind of a little drop off so you can’t really sit in the sand an enjoy calm waves. But we found plenty of seashells. The pools at the resort were great. A little bummed the long pool was adults only so I didn’t get to go in that one but it would have been great to be able to go in with my kids but also understand adults like their space from kids too. Overall it’s a great resort, wished their gift shop was slightly bigger with more selection but what can ya do. I would stay here again. "

" If you are Sharing a room with other people there is no privacy from the bathroom. Do not bother getting a partial ocean view, definitely not worth it. The staff are not friendly. We moved resorts. "

"It was affordable, very clean and efforts were always being made to maintain the property. Food was mediocre, but there were lots of choices which made up for it. Male bar staff by the pool were not super helpful/ or approachable , but female staff around the pool, on the beach and in housekeeping worked so hard and were nothing short of wonderful. Rosio and Fabi ans well as Abigail in cleaning were exceptional and were a big part of why I feel positively about the resort. "

"Ocean was blocked by the roof. Pool did not have enough chairs - had to wake at 6 am to get a chair at all. No chairs on the beach. Pool was clean and entertainment staff around the pool were energetic and fun"
