Top Cedar Lake Hotel Reviews
Emanuel - CUTE UPSTAIRS APARTMENT WITH AIR CONDITIONING! GREAT LOCATION AND DOG-FRIENDLY!
8/10 Good
"This apartment was close to everything we wanted to do like visiting Sleeping Bear dunes and Traverse City. We also liked all the hiking trails around the area. I must say this place had everything you need for cooking and doing your dishes, plus towels and linens. The only thing annoying was the mosquitos , but we came prepared with our bmosquito repellent."

Lakefront with Pontoon Boat, Game Room, Kayaks — No Host or Cleaning Fees
8/10 Good
"The property was great! The house was very clean and comfortable, and check-in was easy. The lake was a perfect size with excellent fishing (mostly bass and bluegill). We used the pontoon a lot and didn’t even go through half of the gas provided, so that was a very nice perk. Kayaks were great, too. We also enjoyed both firepits - one up near the house and one on the dock. There were 3 Adirondack chairs in good condition and several other plastic outdoor chairs. The deck had a nice 6-seat outdoor table, and the charcoal grill was in good shape. Kitchen was well-stocked but would benefit from having a nonstick pan.Docking one star for some of the issues we experienced while we were there. The biggest issue was that the water was extremely iron-y. No big deal for drinking as we just bought water bottles, but the smell was pretty bad for brushing teeth and showering. The biggest issue was that the iron in the water stained our clothes in the laundry to the point of ruining some items. It made the washing machine completely unusable for light colored items. A few other maintenance issues were encountered throughout the house, but the hosts resolved them very quickly. Overall, the hosts were extremely communicative and paid to replace our ruined clothes, but it was not a fun thing to deal with.If you’re looking for an upscale camping vibe with great amenities, this fits the bill. We would definitely stay here again, just wouldn’t do laundry!"
Direct Mickey Lake, Traverse City, Kayaks, Hot Tub, Row Boat, Dog ok
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was a little rustic which I was expecting. It was a bit old so some cosmetic things were very obvious, but it didn’t take away from our stay. There is no A/C but there is standing A/C unit in the bedroom, and they do provide plenty of fans. Which did help keep the living room and bedroom cool. It wasn’t uncomfortable by any means. There is a grill with propane that was provided, the hot tub was clean and very relaxing to hangout in. The dock was safe to walk on and we enjoyed using the fire pit. Word of caution about the lake there are leeches. But it is a lake, we were surprised by how clean it was that there were any, but leave it to our dog to find the one. I did find the home to be very clean overall and they had plenty of linens which were clean too. The kitchen had more available than I expected, pots, pans, all sorts of serving ware and cutlery. There was Both a Leroy and regular coffee pot, and toaster. There was also dishsoap and a fresh sponge to clean dishes with. I was a little disappointed we didn’t have access to the washer and dryer, it advertises having a washer dryer but the room it is in was locked. There were also a few games, cards and puzzle books. The host was very pleasant to work with, I spoke with them to make my payment and they were very friendly and helpful. They emailed and txted me prior to checking with directions and details on the lockbox and WiFi. It was a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. We very much enjoyed our stay!"
Grandma's House LA Charming 3-bedroom corporate apt /duplex w/WiFi, Lake Ann

"The host was great and took care of two minor issues right away! The house was clean and felt homey. The location was perfect between my family’s home and other places we wanted to go in close proximity. We did do laundry at my parent’s since there was a 5 fee per load and I believe for the amount guest's pay to stay that should be included without a fee. I know the host stated her reasoning why in another review, but still it was a hassle. Other than that the area was quiet and pleasant. Ac units are in the bedrooms and we set them for when we were out and it kept the living room around 80 but it wasn’t bad since the ceiling fan was going. Rooms got ice cold but we were able to adjust the units and we slept comfortably. All in all this was a good place to stay."
