Was there for one night only. For that the experience was good. Had to wait for over 2 hours to get dinner, the hotel kitchen was full. No options to dine out on a Sunday night either so had to bear the long wait. Plenty of amenities and spacious and comfortable room.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Mercure Cayen

I had the opportunity to stay at the Mercure Cayenne Royal Amazonia Hotel, and it was a very positive experience overall. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-located, making it an excellent base for both business and leisure travelers visiting Cayenne. The staff was attentive and courteous, and most spoke both French and English, which made communication smooth. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, featuring comfortable beds, strong air conditioning, and amenities such as a minibar, safe, and a large desk. The bathrooms are modern and clean, with good water pressure and hot water available at all times. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout the property, including in the rooms, which was important for my work. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection of fresh fruit, breads, pastries, and hot items — a nice mix of local and international options. One of the highlights was the pool and spa area, which provided a great space to relax after a long day. There’s also a fitness center and an on-site restaurant with refined dining options. A minor downside is that the hotel is a bit outside the city center, but taxis are available and the area is quiet and secure. In summary, the Mercure Royal Amazonia stands out as one of the best hotel options in French Guiana — modern, clean, comfortable, and with great service. I would definitely stay here again.

Le petit déjeuner est de moins bonne qualité en l’occurrence les jus de fruits, c’est de la poudre diluée de mauvais goût Il y a de gros efforts à faire sur la gestion des plateaux repas en chambre que l’on retrouve dans les couloirs C’est fort désagréable pour un hôtel de ce standing

es könnte vieles besser gemacht werden

Eigentlich ist es ein sehr schönes Hotel. Während zwei Tagen funktionierte weder die Klimaanlage noch hatte es warmes Wasser. Der Service an der Reception ist sehr gut, jedoch im Restaurant hoffen die Kellner bei jedem Gäst, dass er wieder geht, ohne etwas zu bestellen. Wir waren, wie schon im letzten Jahr, sehr enttäuscht.
