Clean quiet in good city centre location basic but comfortable

The room had fantastic air con. Comfy bed and great location.

This apartment had great space and really useful cooking facilities. A dishwasher and washing machine in such a small apartment were useful for a longer stay, although we didn't use the later for our 3 night break. It's really convenient for the City centre and even closer to the Millennium Stadium, although I bet prices for major events there are much higher. Cardiff is a great city and certainly cheaper than Lincoln where we live. Strongly recommend a visit.

The hotel is very picturesque and still has it's original charm of the old coal exchange the bedroom (presidential suite) was comfortable but needed a refresh the headboard and the bottom of the bed looked worn out the room needed to be dusted on the wardrobe and hoovered fully the jacuzzi bath tub was very relaxing and nice to sit and chill in the bath , the breakfast was fresh and tasty there was plenty of food choose from hot and cold the toaster took a long time to warm up and toast the bread, the staff where very polite and freindly the only down side was we asked for fresh towels and a hair dryer in the afternoon and didn't get either i had to go back down in the evening to ask again for towels to get some, we was told there was no spare hair dryers available we asked again in the morning and got one and got told there where a few spare, when we checked in we was given a QR code for room service that was until 2am we went to try to order room service at around 11 30pm and was unable to as it wouldnt let you orderel to your room only to a table, overall i'd give the property a 6 out of 10

The staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it. We didn't get chance to use the pool so can't comment on those facilities but what we could see from the window looked good. There was air conditioning in the restaurant but not in our room so that made the room quite hot and stuffy even with the window open. However, there was a fan in the room and that did help a little. Overall, it's a lovely hotel with staff who couldn't do enough, the decor is a little dated but we would stay there again.
