Castle Rock Falls

It was an ok stay. The place is in a good location, the room was spacious and bed large, but there were some significant cons to be aware of. First the walls are paper thin and you can hear all your neighbour’s conversations, to the point where you will be able to hear them snoring in the night. The bedsheets also smelled like not enough detergent was used. Probably the worst thing however was the heating/cooling box randomly and very noisily turning on every few hours including in the middle of the night disturbing my sleep. Overall, for the price it was ok, but for a little more you can definitely find better options.

This place is well kept but it’s so so so loud bc of street traffic and it being at a bus stop — the buses talk at each stop for blind riders. There is no in room AC — there are no vents and they simply give you a fan. And you need to keep the windows open. What a total rip off. False advertising about it having AC — which is why I booked it. $600 a night for an old, tiny (but clean) room with no AC and a bathroom the size of a powder room. Thankfully my husband and I are thin or else we would not have fit into the shower!

The check-in process was seamless even though I arrived around 1am after a long drive. Parking was closed, but there was other affordable parking nearby (fifth and mission/Yerba Buena Garage). Got into my room - everything was clean. I only wish the shampoo/soap dispensers were easier to dispense (I had a room with a bathroom included). Other than that, the stay was perfect for good sleep.
