"The accommodation was beautiful, and the plot of land was huge. The views were fantastic. When we arrived, the trullo was stocked with lots of little goodies, and we felt immediately at home. There was plenty of room for our two groups, consisting of 4 adults, 3 teenagers and one child. The lanes leading to the trullo were fairly narrow but fine, and the peaceful setting was well worth being slightly out of town. "Un hôtel digne des 4 étoiles : magnifique. Vous êtes accueilli par quelqu'un pour que vous puissiez garer votre voiture chose qui ne se retrouve que dans les 5 étoiles généralement. L'entrée est somptueuse. Le petit-déjeuner reste bon : il y a du choix en sucré mais il manque un peu au niveau salé et de la région"

"Aside from the hotel being very nice and comfortable and in a great location, unfortunately we experienced an emergency medical situation that drastically hindered my mobility. They quickly relocated us to a ground floor room as I could not traverse the stairs to our original 2nd floor room, mgmt helped my wife with the luggage while is was in ER and arranged cab service for us from hospital, to pharmacy and back to hotel. They went above and beyond in all regards. A special thanks to Denise who made things much easier for my wife while I was receiving treatment. If in Matera again I will definitely look to book."

"Staying in a cave room but having an entryway in the room with windows out on the gorgeous Matera scenery is perfect. We also had a porch with chairs to sit outside. The breakfast was amazing! Fresh and delicious food served to us by the most welcoming people you could ask for, Angela and Agnese. We also had a wonderful piano player, Gianni, at breakfast every day - now that's a first for us!. If we went back to Matera, which we hope to do some day, we would stay here again. The only negative is WiFi is not reliable in our room. Unfortunately across all of southern Italy our 5g T-mobile plan didn't work either so we used physical maps. We stayed a week and so were able to see a lot of this magnificent area. Most people only stay two or three nights and I feel that is not enough. "
