Fabulous location.

Amazing location. Easy walk into the old town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean with all the amenities. Bed was very comfortable. Nearby public parking was safe and easy to get to you.

This was hands down our favourite stay of our whole trip! The location was wonderful and central. The host was very helpful and told us lots about what to see and where to go. She was also helpful in checking in and in allowing us to hold our bags there until later in the afternoon. The interior of the room was so elegant and our balcony overlooked the street below. The room was spotless and it was obvious a lot of time had gone into making the space and the amenities feel luxurious. Thank you for everything and when we come back to Matera we will definitely be staying here again!

I would 100% stay here again. Our receptionist was knowledgeable, inviting, & a wonderful resource for ideas on where to go and where to eat. The parking nearby was within walking distance and it should be called to attention that the garage timer resets at midnight so we paid for two nights of parking even though we were parked for less than the full 48 hours.

Loved the property, the room and the location! The staff were super helpful reaching out prior to check in to coordinate arrival but also shared many great links to current events, restaurants, things to do etc. The room and shower were lovely, clean and spacious. The location could not have been better. Just at the top of the Sassi so easy to get to one of the main boulevards with many restaurants in the new section overlooking the Sassi as well as the Sassi itself. Parking was not available at the property. Less than a 5 min walk there's free street parking that you can used (we stayed in the same spot for 3 days - just check - white lined parking without resident reservation, there's also white lined parking for residents only, yellow is for handicap parking and blue lines for paid parking) - the staff will also advise you. Paid parking is also available in covered lots (less than 5 min walk) and street paid parking (on the street of the hotel). Food everywhere was excellent. Everything was immediately around out.

A little gem

A really great place to stay - as close as you need to be to all of Matera. There’s bars very close by so if you are a light sleeper or get upset by loud music- you may want to be further away. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, i would stay again. If you get breakfast at Alto - its ok once but there’s so much choice its worth trying different places. Lunch & dinner in Matera will be fabulous Keiv is great, pizza place 100yards from this hotel - there’s 2 & both are great.

La struttura è molto pulita, accogliente e tenuta davvero bene. Purtroppo per un disguido della piattaforma di prenotazione la camera prenotata non corrispondeva a quella effettivamente assegnata. I proprietari si sono dimostrati disponibili e siamo riusciti a risolvere il disguido.

Diciamo che la siute non è una suite ma una ottima tripla, in quanto per definirla suite manca il salottino e un'altra camera. Molto bello il bagno con 2 lavabo e una doccia grande sensoriale, limitata offerta vanity set per una suite, manca il set per l'igiene orale, set barba, set cucito , cotton fioc , e crema corpo. Welcome di benvenuto acqua nel minibar e una bottiglia di vino. Veloce e professionale il check-in , con informazioni su come vedere ka citta.Ottima la pulizia generale. Scarsa la colazione che viene offerta in un locale adiacente l'hotel tra laltro molto bello, ma manca l'abc del breakfast ( marmellate, affettati, dolci, frutta fresca e secca, uova , pancetta, ect ect insomma quello che si trova ormai ovunque a colazione). Buona la posizioni a ridosso del sasso Caveoso, e in generale per visitare il centro di Matera.

Perfekt und Sauber - Top Empfehlung in Matera !

Perfekte Lage, perfekte Gastgeberin, perfekte Unterkunft. Sehr sauber, stilvoll und mit viel Charme eingerichtete Zimmer. Es gibt wirklich nichts zu bemängeln. Obwohl sehr zentral gelegen, findet man immer einen Parkplatz direkt vor der Unterkunft ( 4€ / 5€ pro Tag). Landestypisches Frühstück in einem Café nebenan. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt :)
