The cottage is located behind the main house and overlooks a private garden bordered by a hedge of evergreen trees; it also has its own laundry room. It has an area of about 80 square metres and consists of a living room, a small kitchen and two bedrooms on the ground floor (one with a double bed, the other with a single bed of about 1.2 metres). A wooden staircase leads upstairs to the children's room, which has three comfortable single beds and a small cot. All flats and the cottage are simply and efficiently furnished. Guests have their own private space in front of the flats (for the cottage it is a real garden), but share the large communal garden, swimming pool, gazebo, oven and barbecue. Internet access is available in all flats, but is private in the cottage. There is ample parking at the edge of the garden and outside the central square. We have many cats and two very sociable dogs. We are a married couple, consisting of an Italian and a German (Annalisa and Reinhard). We have lived here for over forty years and have set up a certified organic farm specialising in honey production. We are one of the first organic farms in Umbria and one of the first to have obtained an agritourism licence (Licence No 13). We have renovated the farm outbuildings into three flats. A small flat is located in the main house, where we live. In 2007 we built a cottage made entirely of organic materials, thus expanding our accommodation possibilities. The main house overlooks a square where the entrances to two flats are also located. The other two have access from the garden, while the cottage is located behind the main house and has its own private garden. The large communal area extends beyond the entrances to the individual flats and is equipped with a large gazebo, an oven and a barbecue, as well as a saltwater pool protected by a tall laurel hedge. Our residence is characterised by its tranquillity and beauty, being immersed in a 10-hectare estate bordered by other fields and woods. Although the property is isolated, only 3 km from the town of Castel Giorgio and 20 km from the town of Orvieto, where you can reach the A1 motorway and the railway station, all the main tourist destinations (Rome, Florence...) are within easy reach. ), 7 kilometres from our residence passes the Cassia state road, which leads to Siena in less than an hour, the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea can be reached in less than an hour, as the farm is immersed in greenery and far from sources of light, it allows you to enjoy the spectacle of the sky illuminated by stars and planets, the place is perfect for a stay in peace and tranquillity.
