"The hotel itself is lovely and you get what you need. A comfy bed, shower, friendly service and a pool. The buffet dinner is ok but not great. Be aware that it’s very hilly around the hotel but if you have a car or use Uber you can explore many great places around. The staff has been wonderful!! "

"Lovely hotel close to Cascais and the beach. Efficient, if not over friendly reception staff, though the doormen were lovely. Very clean and well equipped rooms, well soundproofed. Eighth floor room gave us splendid views towards Estoril. Would definitely stay again and for longer. On arrival we were asked for a €150 refundable deposit which took us by surprise. Fully refunded on checkout."

"Casa Vela Guesthouse was a wonderful place to stay… it was beyond our expectations! The grounds and landscaping are spectacular, and it feels like a such a calm escape, yet walking distance to the historic part of town.
