Great location, clean and comfortable

Great stay at hotel casa Tere. Great location, great air conditioning which is a must in Cartagena. In a great spot where you can get anywhere in 10 minutes. The staff was friendly and breakfast was very good, including coffee, cooked to order eggs and fruit. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

Lovely boutique hotel located centrally and just a few steps away from the walled city. The place is super clean and safe. The room we stayed in was also spacious and bed size was larger than anticipated. Note this is a part of the city where it is lively at night so bring your ear plugs. Breakfast was modest. We went out to eat for most of the mornings. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room had ac which was nice but limited natural light. The pool upstairs was nice. It would have been helpful to have recommendations on places to eat from the front desk and places to explore. Morning breakfast is very limited. The area outside was very loud and didn’t make for the best sleep.

Our room was dirty and all towels and sheets were dirty. The hotel didn’t want to help in any way. We had to leave the same day somewhere else as it felt unsanitary. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel didn’t reimburse by money even if we didn’t stay there.

Although I would have liked to give this properly the highest rating for its cleanliness, comfortable beds, hot water and nice showers, good breakfast option, and the attentiveness of most of their staff, my family and I had an unfortunate experience caused by an employee of the hotel. An employee led us to believe that she managed the hotel’s tour bookings for guests. We booked the hotel, and she continued to lie to us even after check in. We paid her a 50% deposit for two tours. When we caught on that she had no authority from the hotel to sell tours, it was already too late. One of the tours did not go as promised, it started much later and ended earlier than she told us. But worse is that the second tour never even happened. As a result, we wasted a day and a half of our short four day stay in Cartagena. We raised our concern to the front desk and this is when we confirmed the lies. The hotel did assist us in getting back the deposit for the tour we didn’t take, but the bad experience and wasted time could never be reversed. We appreciate that the hotel took action and hope that they ensure no other guests experiences what we did. Unfortunately, we left Cartagena pretty heartbroken and don’t think we will ever go back.

Suite is great choice

The only room I’ve ever stayed in is the suite it’s like a little house spacious big balcony the other rooms I have no idea how people even fit in them. They’re so small you barely have the bed with space to walk around it. It’s incredible food good at the restaurant service is good. I was upset. They charge me nearly $100 for an extra guest to I thought was already registered. That was very disappointing. The hot water gets shut off in the early evening. That’s not nice but all in all they’re pretty friendly crew. It’s a safe place. It’s a clean place. The sweets are great option really great option the other rooms though extremely small wow.

Está en una excelente ubicación, y la limpieza es muy buena, sin embargo las instalaciones son muy viejas, no se parecen a las fotos otorgadas o tal vez sí pero fotos de hace más de 5 años, las camas son muy incómodas y al movimiento hacen mucho ruido, las toallas muy viejas.

Room was a good size and clean. Pool and patio areas were nice. Breakfast was generous and tasted great. The hotel was located in a great area near many restaurants and steps from the park. It is also walking distance from most tourist attractions.

Nice hotel with good location.

Nice hotel with a good location. Close to the clock tower and walled city but still not in the city. Many restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast at a place right next door with a simple breakfast menu but still good and friendly staff. Felt safe and the rooms were nice and with good ac.
