"The riad was clean ,staff where so friendly , position of the riad was excellent you could walk to most places , in a very busy area but did not here much noise at night , plenty of cafes ,resturants nearby, did not find a bar . Right in the heart of Marakesh"

"1 - Taxi driver took 30ish minutes finding the property as there is no Hotel sign on the outside or anywhere else 2 - The bed was in a small gap in the wall so we had to crawl in to the bed as there was not space either side. The ceiling was 3 feet above us so very claustrophobic. 3 - The toilet and bath were in a similar ‘gap’ the ceiling being about 4 foot from the floor, 3 foot above the loo so had to knell down to have a pee. "Initially had a misunderstanding at the front desk, but it got reconciled, and everyone was very professional and friendly. Majority of the time the staff in all areas from the restaurant to the pool are very polite and attentive trying to make our stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. We found the room to be impeccable. Just be aware there are no washcloths. The shower is very nice. "

"No fridge in room. Pool is misleading somewhat. Reception is somewhat helpful. Very close to train station. Short taxi to Medina Room was next to road which is very noisy. "

"Staff member who greeted me was nice but that was about the only positive thing. Cute place some decades ago, furniture and furnishings dated, and dusty. Room had broken tiles, a shower that you had to toggle between hot (scalding) ans cold water, no amenities (kettle, iron, waters). Cleaning done but hair left in bathroom. Internet present but not powerful. In the new part of the city near some great restaurants. Problem is it was at a distance 12-15 min drive plus another 5-15 min walk, from all day time/ tourist activities. Surprised at the high star rating. Had booked to simply my travel over 3 days but would not recommend. My advice? Stay closer to the old town, it’s worth the fractional increase in cost. "
