Plenty of good pubs within 30 minute drive. 30 minutes and an easy drive to downtown Galway. 30 minutes access to the Rossaveel ferry for the Aran Islands. Deirdre was a great host and communicative! "Perfect location for walking to pubs / cliff walk. Seamless no contact check in and rooms were comfortable. BYO shower soap - many places in Ireland are like this so NBD. A fan in the room might be a nice touch but not terribly needed as it cools down at night in Doolin. Thanks for a great stay!"

"We enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town. The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent. While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands. Staff was professional and helpful, printing out the bus timetable for us. "
