"The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, but twice we found long black hair that wasn’t ours on a pillow and the comforter. Our towels had rips in them. One of the bedside lamps had a burned out bulb, and when I went down to the desk to ask for a replacement, there was no one there for a long period of time. I eventually gave up. The alarm on the old-fashioned clock radio in the room surprised us by going off super early in the morning. The lobby and hallways had a weird disinfectant smell. I would not stay here again."

"The hotel is beautiful - sleek and chic! Great location and stellar staff. The rooftop bar and restaurant is my favorite place in Charlottesville. (The gluten-free pizza is FANTASTIC!). The rooms are nice, but there was mildew on the shower walls the last 2 times we stayed there. The gym has some broken equipment, but that won't stop us from coming back! The best value in the area. "

"Cozy, peaceful, well organized. I loved the charm of this place and the poultry in the back! The description is spot on, all the little stuff I needed was provided. I was fortunate enough to meet Lorraine, and I found her to be accommodating and easy going. If you have questions, she will get back to you with a quick turnaround and concise answers. Price point is better than other cabins in the vicinity and single night bookings are accepted. Owner's domicile is directly behind this cabin; I only met her once (feeding said poultry) and didn't see anyone in that house the rest of the time I was there. The directions to get to the cabin are exact, and you will not be disappointed when the driveway levels out and you pull up to this sweet little cabin. I recommend and I will be back."
