"Proximity to Epworth Medical Facility.. good; the whole reason why there. Carpet a bit tired looking.. to be honest; verandah seat - u/s. Cigarette smoking scent - pervaded through the corridors.. in places. Overall.. what inter-action with staff - positive.. the unit itself.. its facilities - all good; the accomm. served my purpose very well. Thanks."

"We loved our stay at Adara Apartments. We were in Melbourne to go to the football, and the apartments were so close to the MCG. Lots of pubs and restaurants close by too. The space had everything we needed. We missed out on parking at the property, but there was heaps of on street parking at a reasonable rate. My new favourite accommodation in the city, and have booked again for a couple of weeks time."

"It is not easy to find properties that are pet friendly so we are always keen to try them out. Birches Apartment was a good size with a comfortable layout and in a great location close to much of what Melbourne has to offer. The bed was comfortable with good quality Hotel type sheets. Yes it’s a bit tired with the age and style of the building but it’s fairly typical of other places we’ve tried in the past when we need to stay with our two small dogs. The shower was over the bath and bathroom decor is old but shower was hot so that’s great. The initial price given for our stay didn’t mention extra fees for pets and parking so it ended up more expensive than we first thought. I believe the Hotel websites need to be more transparent about extras as some places say “pet friendly - fees apply”and others don’t say this but still charge extra. Makes it hard to compare properly. The parking area was good in a secure location and close to our apartment (message property to check prices). As we take great care of anywhere we stay, it would be much fairer to take a bond for pets and refund if the owners do the right thing…"

"Place was near the station which was very convenient. Rooms are quite dated but with what you pay for it is really not bad at all. Staff was very nice. Toilets unfortunately always had pee on them when I stayed there. Does tend to get noisy with all the cars if your room is next to a road. Also have to give a deposit for a key which isn't the best for a solo female traveller."
