Host was a super-host! Excellent communication and support. A rare find, well stocked, comfortable, clean, and excellent location. Sleeps 4 comfortable. Additional people have to sleep on air mattress (provided by host) or sofa (not a pull out).

The property was nicely renovated, but still had an old charm to it. The house was very clean and well equipped with cooking utensils/plates/etc. Compared to other places we have stayed in the past, it was nice to have direct access to a washer and dryer. Overall, my family and I were very pleased!

Very neat, clean, little house.

Was similar to pictures and very clean. Surprisingly many amenities for cooking or preparing your own food. For a Christmas away from home with three girls it worked well for us.

We LOVED the Brennan House! Stayed here when we visited Carlsbad Caverns. Being very close to the River walk and swim/beach area at the river as an unexpected bonus! She even had a little gift bag of a couple items from New Mexico waiting for us!

Comfortable and a great place to come home to after a long hike at Carlsbad caverns. I would have enjoyed a few more spices in the pantry for cooking, but the overall experience was wonderful.

Beautiful historic home in the center of Carlsbad!

We booked this home for our trip to Carlsbad Caverns. The home is so convenient to all the shops and restaurants in town. The grocery is almost directly across the street! It has been recently renovated and updated. It was very clean and the owner was very easy to work with. We loved the welcome snacks! Thank you for a wonderful visit to New Mexico!

Lovely place to stay if visiting Carlsbad Caverns

A wonderful, well-kept older home close to downtown and only 30 minutes to/from the caves. The 2 bedrooms accommodated the 4 of us well, albeit as in older homes, there was only 1 bathroom, but we worked it out. The kitchen is well stocked (even included a thoughtful small gift), even if we didn't cook. There is a wonderful BBQ restaurant and a delightful breakfast restaurant, both a block from the house and also locally owned. The owner/contact person was easy to reach and accommodating and provided excellent directions and instructions for the home amenities. If we are back in Carlsbad, we will definitely stay at Brennan House again.

Cute downtown bungalow

Great little bungalow right downtown. Well maintained and a quick call to the owner answered my only question. Hint: Open the binder on the table and all questions are answered right there!

A wonderful gem

We enjoyed our stay at the Brennan house very much. The living area was spacious and comfortable. The house was clean and attractive. We really had everything that we needed, & more. There was a grocery store, a wonderful little bakery and coffee house, a pharmacy and restaurants all within a short walk, but somehow it was quiet and felt private. The Carlsbad Caverns were less than a half hour drive away. Do not mess this spectacular natural wonder!!! The Brennan house was our last stop on a nine day journey through New Mexico, & we enjoyed it very much.

A perfect little getaway!

My mom and I traveled here on a short road trip with my three daughters ages 13,11, and 6 weeks. We could not had asked for a more perfect home with wonderful amenities like coffee, laundry, toiletries, and plenty of space. The home was immaculate, the neighborhood was nice, and the area was easily accessible. We were surprised by the comfort of the couches, the lovely original flooring, and an added bonus was the original artwork that decorated the home by Amy Brennan. We are very thankful for such a quaint home that provides us with a relaxing trip.

Fantastic choice!

This was our last road trip stop, and our favorite. April was very helpful - she called me to ensure the reservation was correct, and also when we had left a tablet in the house. We walked to dinner and breakfast, had a nightcap on the porch, and thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of the house.
