"Amazing resort I will definitely be back! I absolutely loved everything. One thing I did wish they'd consider is that microwaves were in the rooms and not be charged a $50 fee for a microwave, other than that everything was perfect! Best staff with exceptional customer service, the property was extremely clean with great amenities and beautiful beach."

"Hit & Miss trip... Weak pool vibe, no loungers had to beg for a music speaker.....little to no nightlife at TRS itself.. no real entertainment team.. weak food on this visit 1 decent meal.....No elevators, unimpressive lobby with Nespresso coffee maker using pods in lobby very weak watery cappuccinos etc.. HITS....good alcohol selection good Batenders (ANYELO) nice goomed beach w plenty of loungers.. they handled the sargassum fairly well...nice room. ocean pool view#5244 good room attendant, didnt request much from the "Butler" just a few dinner reservations ..NOT anywhere close to a 5 star property in our personal opinion....we are very experienced travelers and have visited 5 star resorts.. we gave it 3.5 stars we would not return... 4 nights 5 days and were ready to leave after 3rd day.. Very little effort put into providing a fun experience...so it missed on fun, service and excellence...other Palladium hotels on site offer more fun... BUT why does TRS offer none!!!"

Barceló Bávaro Palace - All Inclusive

"I stayed at Barceló Bávaro Palace for 5 nights, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. One of the biggest issues was the water in the room. Every time we turned on the water in bath there was a terrible odor coming from it. The smell was extremely unpleasant, almost like something dead, and it made the room feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. The food was also very disappointing. Most meals were cold, repetitive, and lacked quality. Another major issue was the Wi-Fi. There was practically no reliable internet service anywhere on the property. The Wi-Fi barely worked during our stay, and I even had to purchase international phone passes just to try to stay connected, which still did not work adequately. This created a huge inconvenience throughout the trip. The experience that upset me the most happened at the snack bar restaurant called El Caribe. After leaving the pool area, my partner & I went there to grab food. We were not dripping wet — we had already been drying off for over 30 minutes and were only slightly humid from being outside. An employee named Ana DeJesus approached us and told us we were not allowed inside because we were “wet.” The issue was not only what she said, but the way she said it. Her tone and attitude made me feel extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed. She eventually told us, “Fine, just go, but don’t let nobody see you.” I found this comment completely inappropriate and unprofessional. We ended up not entering. NO GOOD!"

Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort

"We recently stayed on the adultsonly side of the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba for 3 nights. The hotel itself was very clean, the room was spacious, and overall the property was beautiful. We spent a lot of time and money enjoying the bars, boutiques, and restaurants throughout the resort during our stay. Unfortunately, our experience at the end of the trip left a bad impression. About 2 hours before checkout, we found out our flight was delayed by more than 5 hours. We politely requested a later checkout while we tried to figure out whether we could still make the later flight or postpone until the next day, which is what we ultimately ended up doing. Instead of any flexibility or effort to accommodate us, we were basically told “no, we have a booking for that room today.” I understand hotels have policies and incoming guests, but after spending several days and a significant amount of money at the resort, I expected at least some level of customer service or alternative assistance without having to ask what could be done to help us. The resort itself is nice, but the lack of empathy and accommodation during a stressful travel situation definitely changed how we felt about the experience overall."
