"The front staff were very friendly and helpful. Knowledgeable about the local area and had good suggestions on where to eat. I love the fact that the room had a full kitchenette - full refrigerator/freezer, a 2-burner cooktop and sink with a coffee maker. They even provided a small dish soap and towels for the kitchenette area. The queen beds were comfortable - one had a softer mattress the other was firmer, which I liked. "This is an older Hampton Inn. It is currently NOT up to the Hampton Inn standards that we all expect. After looking at 5 rooms, we finally found a newly refreshed room that was beautiful. However, the water system needed a new part and the shower was straight hot water only. The hotel is under new management and they say the necessary parts are expected soon to fix this. The staff was great as they work through the challenges of upgrading this hotel. It will eventually be a great place...
