TERRE DE HAUT

"On the positive side, we enjoyed meeting our hostess on site and the unit was very clean. However, it was very basic relative to other places we stayed. No coffee, water or other touches. The main fan was very loud. And the air conditioning was automated to turn on only for a few hours at night in the bedroom. While I understand the need to conserve energy, a kindly reminder in a note would have been nicer and more appropriate considering the cost. Also, the unit is up a steep hill, rather far...

La Creole Beach Hôtel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Le petit déjeuner"

Le Relais du Moulin, Hôtel de Charme & Spa

8/10 Good

HOTEL BOIS JOLI

8/10 Good

"Room and bathroom was beautiful and spacious. Very nice deck area attached to the room with gorgeous views. More breeze than downtown since it's up the hill a little. Walk to rooms is uphilk plus a flight of stairs. Beach is small but has great snorkeling. Large pool and 2 outdoor showers as well as changing rooms. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays which was when we visited. They did however provide the shuttle for free those evenings to access other restaurants. Breakfast was included and excellent: scrambled eggs, a variety of fruits, cheese, ham, a variety of pastries and fruit juices. Lots of ants, which they eventually sprayed but didn't clean up so that was a little gross."

La Toubana Hôtel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"We had an awesome time staying at La Toubana! The set up of the resort on the cliff side is very unique….. having a pool up top overlooking the sea and beach below offers the best of both worlds. They have done a great job of making each bungalow feel secluded utilizing the elevation of the cliff and foliage of the land. Bungalow 19 had a great view of a small cover and cliff side but also the southern tip of Basse-Terre in the background. This resort is on the smaller scale and more intimate, if you’re looking for busy nightlife this is not the place. At one point we had the pool to ourselves for close to 2 hours. Drinks and food are a little on the higher end compared to what can be found outside the resort. I would recommend getting a rental car to explore the islands as the resort has free parking. Overall an amazing experience and would totally recommend and even come back!"

Sur la Plage - Club Sainte-Anne

8/10 Good

8/10 Good
