A gem of a place

An amazing location and the staff were so attentive. The rooms were very comfortable. A place I would love to go back to with my partner as it's very romantic in it's setting.

This was the perfect hidden gem! Bonus, they gave pets. I was missing mine at home so badly, so being able to pet the cats and dogs made me feel at home. The food was also fantastic and the staff was so kind.

Chill outside Stellenbosch

This is a gem of place. Beautiful site with its own pool, hot tub, restaurant and gardens supplying the vegetables for the table. The chef is a great character and very good. The drinks offer there is also very good and trusting with an honesty box for payment.

Couldn't recommend enough

Couldn't recommended the log cabin enough. We had a wonderful few nights stay and regret not staying longer. The guys that look after you are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The furry residents simba venus and socks were a great addition too. The breakfast is probably one of the best breakfasts we have had anywhere on our travels. They catered well for vegetarians too. The rooms were great and they had thought of so many small touches. The bed was huge and so comfy and the USB charging ports were very handy. The location was brilliant, was a straightforward 30-40 minutes from the airport, you can walk to a few vineyards for tastings and the views were lovely. The pool area was great to relax by and the hot tub an added bonus. Was sad to leave and was good value for money.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Log Cabin which has made our honeymoon extra special. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by our host Fundo who was so warm and kind. He did everything he could to make sure that we are well taken care of. Hélene knew that we were arriving late from the airport, even texted my husband to take our orders for dinner ahead of time. The quality of the food at the Log Cabin was exceptional! Breakfast was not your typical continental breakfast, you get 4 choices and a lovely granola with yogurt on the side. The only issue we had was with the WiFi which could be due to the fact that we are living in a separate standalone villa. WiFi in the main cabin was strong and we had no issue. Thank you again to the Log Cabin team for such a lovely time. We will definitely come back again!

Hidden gem - absolutely recommended

Hidden gem a little bit off the main roads. The location was just beautiful and very peaceful, this lodge is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay in Stellenbosch. The room has been clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Thomas and the hosts have been super lovely and helpful. We can absolutely recommend this place and would stay there again any time!

Excelente opção a 15 minutos de Stellenbosch. Tipo um sítio nos arredores da cidade, com um visual lindíssimo, muito verde e um atendimento familiar. Quartos amplos com todo o conforto, máquinas e utensílios de um apartamento. Disponível café da manhã e jantar para os hóspedes. O jantar não provamos e o café é bem básico, a lá carte, com algumas opções. Não alugamos carro, mas o Uber dá um show de mobilidade em toda a África do Sul. Muito fácil chegar e sair, inclusive para o aeroporto com várias malas.

What a beautiful hide-away. The views are stunning and nature is so peaceful, a nicely maintained lawn, hot tub, a pool everything was well looked after. We wanted to do a braai which was no problem and equipment was kindly provided. I certainly will be back.

Little paradise.

We had the most beautiful stay. Got welcomed and received a full tour of this lovely place. We booked in quite late and it was never an issue. We were even able to order a very late dinner from the Gino's menu in our room. We stayed in complete comfort. Gosh!!! Tue ned and pillows were define!!!!!Had everything we needed. Breakfast was 5 star amd the staff was so super friendly. We felt very at home. Thank you to everyone at the log cabin.

PEACEFUL LOCATION, NICE VIEWS
