Relaxing stay with gorgeous surroundings
The stay was excellent and a great retreat for our family! Mario’s communication & hospitality was excellent & the villa was very clean & even more beautiful than the photos. We had 4 generations of family and everyone enjoyed the experience. We meant to do more sightseeing, but frankly everyone wanted more time just being together as a family. The views were amazing & both the pool & hot tub were enjoyed. The family even enjoyed a competition of ping pong. One of everyone’s highlights was when local Chefs came & cooked an unbelievable 3 course dinner with appetizers & deserts - we highly recommend. We are very thankful to Mario for sharing their place so we could build many happy family memories.

Wonderful property
We had a great 2 week stay at Casa Mennone. Loretta is a wonderful host. She was very responsive when we had questions. Lido cooked 3 amazing meals.

Beautiful property, wonderful location, great facilities and a brilliant time!
We had a wonderful time at Casa Mennone - there were 14 of us and plenty of room and activities for all. Mario did a fantastic pizza night and we had Rossana cook for us on another couple of nights - she was great and well worth considering. The pool is lovely and the view is one to enjoy - bring binoculars! Mario was available whenever we had questions and this is very much a property to be recommended if you have a large party. Many thanks to all the Ciambelli Family for making us feel welcome.

Incredible place incredible location incredible views and incredible hosts.
17 family members stayed for a week as it was my mother’s 80th birthday and we had an unbelievable experience. The house is laid out perfectly. The bedrooms were charming and the bathrooms were clean spacious and updated. Mario responded immediately to the smallest requests. The pool and hot tub were pristine and used everyday. The view is breathtaking during the day and at night and the setting is pure Tuscany. The Ciambelli Family are incredible people and we’re so gracious. I truly can’t say enough about this place. It was a perfect home away from home that we used to access hill towns to the south and coastal towns to the north as well as Florence and Lucca. I’ll be back and maybe it will have to be during olive season in November as the Family produces upwards of 1500 bottles of olive oil. If it’s available rent this place and make incredible memories in Tuscany. Grazie to the Ciambelli Family

We had a good stay at Casa Mennone. The house was clean and had a beautiful view. We were a little disappointed about the lack of contact with the hosts apart from the initial brief run through. We would have loved more information on places to visit and things to do in the area in order to get the most out of our visit to Capannori. Thankfully past reviews mentioned a few things, otherwise we wouldn’t have known about the pizza dough at the bakery etc. Great WiFi.

Beautiful place with amazing views and a great host.
We really enjoyed our stay at Loretta and Mario's house. They were always reachable and helped with all questions and requests. The house has everything you need and you feel right at home. The best part of course is the garden with the pool and the gorgeous views. We were a large group and had enough space to hang out throughout the day. Thanks to Mario for the great stay and we are sure we will be coming back soon.

The Villa was absolutely beautiful , very clean and everything there you could want. The people were wonderful and really made you feel at home. Nothing was to much trouble. My husband and I took the family there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and we all said that we definitely will be going back. I would highly recommend this villa and family to anyone who wants a fabulous holiday.

Picture perfect views!
We just finished our week at the villa and can't say enough about our experiences! Villa is beautiful, plenty of room, outside area the best, views over the Tuscan countryside and town of Lucca are breathtaking. We were a party of 14 and fit very comfortably. What made our stay extra special is the family that owns the villa. They opened up their home to all of us. We learned so much about the area and local culture from each family member. A few of our favorite memories were a cooking lesson from Loretta, pizza night when we used the outdoor pizza oven and our visits to The family's organic farm next door. We had a minor household issue during our stay and they were extremely responsive. A car is a must to access supermarkets and to visit Lucca. Lucca is great medieval town. Small and when we were there- free from tourist crowds. Florence, Pisa and Cinque Terra are short train rides away. I highly recommended a stay here. We can't wait until we get to go again!

Everything was perfect
We had a great stay at Casa Mennone! Highlight was the huge outdoor space with a really gorgeous view from the terace, pool and jacuzzi. We hardly left the premises due to Covid, but with all the possibilities in the garden, the six children in our party never got bored - and neither did the adults. :) Also, we regularly made use of the pizza / bread oven and bbq. Also indoors, nothing was missing. Everything was there you could possibly need for a large group. Communication was very easy. The host family was extremely nice and always quick to give a helpful answer. All in all: Great vacation, great house, absolutely recommendable!

It was a great week! We loved this house!
We were celebrating with our family the 45 years of marriage of my parents. The house and facilities were clean and great. The view, the pool, pizza oven and garden were our favorites. We have visited Lucca and Collodi during this week. As this house is in the wine area of Tuscany we visit one of these wine houses. The contact and communication with the family of the house was very nice, quick and enthousiastic. We had contact with Mario and Elisa. If we had questions, they were there! Thank you for make this week unfortgetable for my parents, but also to us all. We loved this place!!!

Ein sehr toll gelegenes und ausgestattetes Haus für einen Urlaub mit der Familie.
Eine große Villa mit ausreichenden Bädern sowie nichts an dem es gefehlt hätte. Toller Pool in toller Lage.... Grill, Steinofen, super Ausstattung für gemeinsames Kochen und Chillen, auch für Kinder ein Traum.

This is a wonderful place with everything you need!
We arrived to this lovely place the 29th of july. In total 18 persons. Loretta welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know. The house was very clean and nice. All you need is in place to make good meals and enjoying the breakfast and dinner at the nice terrasse. Good storageplace and 3 fridges was very nice when you need cold drinks for 18 people. We spent a lot of time by the pool, enjoying the nice garden and a fantastic view. Had a great evening when Mario and Mirko came and made pizza for us. The family was very friendly and responded quickly when we had some questions during our stay. We all loved this place, the house, the pool and the beautiful sourroundings. We hope to be back another time. Arrivedeci!

Traumhafte Ferien in der Villa Mennone
Wir verbrachten mit unserer Familie (12 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder) sehr schöne und erholsame Ferien in der Villa Mennone. Elisa, die Schwester von Mario, hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Alle haben sich sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet, war sauber und in einem gepflegten Zustand. Für unsere Enkelkinder waren genügend Spielsachen vorhanden. Der Pool, als auch der Whirlpool, von wo aus man am Abend die Aussicht über Tal geniessen konnte, waren perfekt und wurden zweimal in der Woche gereinigt. Dieses Anwesen können wir mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen. Auf jeden Fall werden wir das "Casa Mennone" wieder buchen.

Sehr gepflegtes wunderbares Anwesen
Dieses Haus ist ideal für mehrere Personen. Auch für Menschen mit einem Handicap. Zwei der unterer Zimmer sind Rollstuhlgängig und die Duschmöglichkeit ist Bodeneben. Der Umschwung bietet tolle Abwechslung wie baden im Pool, Wirlpool, Tischtennis, Badminton.Eine super Grillstelle ist auch vorhanden. Loretta und Mario waren bei Bedarf stets zur Stelle und sehr nett. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können das Casa Mennone vorbehaltslos weiterempfehlen !!!
