The description is completely accurate. Wonderful and nicely maintained old cabin with all the modern conveniences (dishwasher! internet!) in the middle of nowhere within the Helena NF. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but the hotel is in need of a remodel. The furniture was stained in the room, the blinds were some odd combo from the the 1950’s, and the fan/ac for the unit was shoved under a huge wall length desk n the room. It was just weird.

30 years ago my husband and I stayed at this hotel on our first trip to MT. We were so impressed with the cooked to order breakfast back then and I was amazed they still offer it today! The hotel could use a little updating, but the staff and breakfast made our trip down memory lane worthwhile!
