"My family is from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, so this style of cabin-life is normal to us. We have a log cabin, ourselves. First of all, the owners were extremely friendly and very kind to our three children. Our youngest got very muddy on a hike and they let us use the laundry facilities (during their cleaning hours) to make sure he had dry shoes. "This is a wonderful place to stay. Lodge room was large and very clean with a nice view. The staff was helpful, but the best part was the restaurant. We ate supper and breakfast there and liked it so much we drove back by there for lunch. Definitely recommend!"

"We booked this late, and were grateful to find a place with 2 beds & a shower. I said, it would have been nice if the property would’ve disclosed ahead of time that they were conducting construction right outside our cabin. The construction started at 7 AM & we had construction workers talking right outside our walls, as well as leaning their equipment up against the wall.
