"I think we may be the first people to rent this lovely place, so I’m going to write in some detail about it–even though that may mean more people will discover it and limit my future rentals!First, I must say you might wonder a bit as you turn down Hubbard Lane– it’s a dirt road (well maintained) and there’s a property at the start of the road with some cars in the yard that need work. But just keep going aways, turn left and then you will emerge from the trees into the magic of this place! ...

"A surprise gem around those parts. While the rooms may be a tad dated, they were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. And the property is amazing! Spacious lawn, horseshoes, firepits, an amazing walk down to the lake with seats, a dock, and kayaks to take out. Its a mini-resort in the middle of Maine! Highly recommend "

"We had such an amazing time at Roger and Elaine’s property and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, serene experience. We could not believe how private the area was, and it felt like we had the entire pond to ourselves the entire weekend. Roger and Elaine were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early, which was so appreciated. The house was perfectly clean and the kitchen was well stocked; in many ways it exceeded our expectations and made for a great trip. We are already planning our visit for next year. Thank you for an excellent stay!"

"We rented this space for our small wedding ceremony and then a larger reception afterwards. The outdoor space provided great options for the ceremony location and for the reception, inside and outside spaces were perfect! We hosted approx. 20 people for the ceremony and had about 120 for the reception and there was enough room. We hosted guests as young as 2 weeks and as old as 92. We didn't have guests in wheelchairs but we did have guests using walkers. That made for some challenges in the upstairs area but downstairs and outside were fine. There was ample parking for all guests in the gravel parking lot and the paved area. The venue was very clean, the staff were so helpful and attentive to our needs, and staying there felt like home. Our wedding and reception were a dream and my family will definitely be back someday! I highly recommend staying here and working with Janna and her team!"
