"Very nice hotel, but be wary. They charged extra destination fees that were not included in the Expedia price. This directly goes against the new rules set out in 2024 by the Federal Trade Commission. Honesty is something I value in hotels and it is disappointing that this hotel does not feel the same way. "

"Awfully rude front desk service by the woman named Elena. Even asking a basic question about the stay was met with an unfriendly and disrespectful response. Possibly the worst front desk ever experienced in 15 years of travel. The place is a little shabby but rooms are decent. Breakfast as average as it gets."

"The positives: Both Check in and Check out were easy and smooth and the staff was lovely. The hotel is close to the train station and conveniently located. My room was very clean and quiet, which I appreciated. But- and this is a big deal- when I pulled back the cover on the bed, the bottom sheet was put on inside out, and both sheets were so wrinkled and bumpy they looked as if they’d been left in a ball after being dried. The threadbare pad underneath was rumpled and sliding off, the sheet did not fit the mattress and so was not covering it completely, and the feather duvet was so old it had flattened into a pancake and was ripped on one corner so feathers were actually spilling out. In fact it was so flat that at first I thought it was another sheet and was about to call the desk to ask for a blanket. Then I held it up to the light and saw clusters of limp feathers here and there. The pillows were folded into lumps with the cases tucked inside and everything reeked of so much bleach I got dizzy. (At least they were clean.) I was really surprised and have never seen something like this in a hotel with a good reputation. I don’t blame the staff because they are working with sub par supplies here. But the head of housekeeping needs to do a linen inventory and the hotel needs to invest in new sheets, mattress pads, and duvets. After a long day of travel a comfortable well made bed is important, and this was truly a hot mess. I wouldn’t go back. "

"We arrived slightly earlier than the check in time but the room was ready so they gave it to us. The front desk staff was helpful in explaining the amenities as well."
