Spring:

As spring arrives in Rumney, the log cabin area comes to life with the sounds of birdsong and the fragrance of blooming flowers. The surrounding landscape awakens with lush greenery, and you'll witness the rebirth of the forest as trees and plants begin to bud and bloom.

You will enjoy pleasant, mild temperatures during the day, perfect for exploring the outdoors, and cool evenings ideal for sitting around a campfire or wood-burning fireplace in the cabin.

Summer brings warm, sunny days and endless opportunities for outdoor fun in Rumney.
The region offers fantastic hiking, with trails leading to beautiful vistas and waterfalls. You can also go swimming, canoeing, or kayaking in the nearby glacier fed, crystal clear Stinson Lake and the Pemigawasset River.

Check out local summer festivals, farmers' markets, and events that celebrate the season and the community.

Autumn is perhaps the most iconic time to visit Rumney. The New Hampshire foliage in fall is breathtaking. The log cabin's surroundings transform into a vibrant tapestry of red, orange, and yellow leaves. Take scenic drives to admire the fall foliage, or go on hikes that offer incredible views of the changing landscape. Visit nearby orchards and pick your own apples or enjoy fresh cider and other harvest treats.

Winter in Rumney brings a magical, snow-covered wonderland. The region offers excellent opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. Waterville Valley and Loon Mountain are nearby ski resorts, and Tenney Mountain just re-opened for a less expensive ski-day.
After a day of winter activities, return to your log cabin for a cozy evening. Enjoy hot cocoa and the warmth of a wood-burning stove.
For the adventurous, try ice climbing in the nearby ice-covered cliffs and waterfalls.
