This place was honestly so cute and perfect. We went there to take a little vacation after being diagnosed with cancer, and I'm so glad we did. 10-15 minutes from the entry to Yosemite, 30-40 minutes to Hetch Hetchy, and everything was just gorgeous. The restaurant was good - good food, great service, with a cute lil gift shop. I do wish the store it looks like they used to have was open, but that's okay. Overall, definitely a repeat stay for us.

We loved the convenient location. Hiking paths right off the property and the agility course. The outdoor pool with hot tub and sauna is great. Wished the outdoor pool opened before 10 AM for a lap swimming. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the resort “style” was very appealing.

"We had a great time at the Roost Cabin. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck taking in the scenery. We loved the area and took several hikes at the nearby Calaveras Big Trees park and also drove up to Lake Alpine. We would definitely love to come to this cabin again."

"Property was an older rustic cabin. Didn’t realize only bathrooms were on 3rd floor and main living/kitchen on 2nd floor. Beds were comfortable. Area was nice and quiet. Had issue with stove and unable to cook. Owner was very responsive and had great service recovery."
