I love this property and location
This home by far is my favorite place to vacation. There's 16 queen size or larger beds, 2 kitchens, tons of entertainment provided and a private dock perfect for fishing and water activities. I've stayed here 2 times in the past 3 years and will stay there again.

My family and I spent a fantastic New Year’s weekend here. The check in was super easy and the house was everything we expected. Plenty of room for us to stretch out and unwind. My family enjoyed the game room, the theater room, fishing off the dock and oh yeah a beautiful lake view as well. We would love to return again one day. Great way to ring in the new years.

So much space and so much too do !
This property was impressive! So much room. The dock was beautiful, wonderful fire pit, hot tub, kayaks, and game room. So much for a big group to do ,and plenty of space to spread out. Highly recommend! We comfortably slept 14 adults and had room for more. Wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the movie room, but it was so nice outside, we were on the dock or fire pit most of the time.

Perfect Summer Family Lake Gathering
Great stay! We had 7 different families from across the country gather for cousins week. The house and property were awesome. We appreciated the spacious kitchens and common spaces, 2 sets of washers and dryers and the theater room. We spent the majority of our time on the dock and in the lake. Hands down the best dock and lake swim set up we experienced. The cove is quiet and we felt very comfortable letting our kids ranging in age from toddler to teenagers swim, float and kayak. Rachel was an incredible and responsive host who gave us a great recommendation for pontoon rental. Highly recommend this Lakefront Vacation home 6 rental and Jeff Shores (Castaway Cove LLC) for boat rental.

Amazing property with plenty to do!
Such a beautiful property. The private cove provided a fun place for the adults and kids to enjoy swimming, kayaking & fishing. We spent most of our time enjoying the dock area. We did have a couple of rainy days, so the game room and movie theater came in handy. We had kids ranging from 8 to 18 years old and they never got bored. Will definitely come back!

Great Vacation Spot
This house was an amazing place to stay with our 4 families. The kids loved the movie room and swimming around the dock. The adults appreciated all of the refrigerators, the stocked kitchens, the outside deck and the amazing dock. It was a chill place to be able to put up your feet and relax. We would come back again.

The cove was well protected. Paddle boards and kayaks were a big hit. 3 fridges and cupboards held all food and drinks for our 32 people. We had all of the cooking utensils you could ask for including large crockpots. Three coffee pots. Two large capacity washers and dryers. We spent lots of time out on the dock. Two great seating areas. Great time. Great stay. Game room was fun. Lots of gathering spots within the house. Beds comfy.

Fabulous Experience
House was very clean and organized. The house, the dock and swim area are extremely private. The owners’ kayaks, paddleboard and floating gear made the water extra enjoyable. Theater room was a big hit with everyone. As our group grows, four bathrooms will be the only detail that might discourage us from renting this house again. We will probably need another one or two bathrooms. Communication from the management team was superb. Our stay here was a fabulous experience!

Fun Filled Family Vacation
The property had plenty of room for our party of 9 adults and 12 grandkids. The property was accessible for our cane-using grandfather and the trip to the dock from the house was accessible. The dock has lots of room to hang out and you can jump in and swim around the dock or use the canoes to hang out in the wake free cove. Plenty of places to sleep eat and hang out inside the house as well. We loved the movie room and the games downstairs. It was easy to cook and even have a fire at night. We rented 2 pontoons and there were so many close great places to go on the lake. We loved our stay.

Great lake front property for large groups
Our family of 15 had a great time at this property. The house was big enough for all of us. Everyone loved the boat dock with the tiki bar. The lounging area on one end and table and chairs on the other was great. One thing we were not happy with was the listing said water trampoline and they did not have it. The lily pad was not usable because the geese used it for a bathroom. The 2 kitchens were great. It was also nice to have enough seating for everyone to eat together. We will definitely be coming back again next year.

Mother-daughter retreat
We used this for a weekend live-stream conference and teen daughter/mom retreat. It was fantastic! The theater room worked great for the conference, and also served as an overflow sleeping area. We enjoyed the game/rec area downstairs and had plenty of room for all 30 of us to eat. We had 2 minor issues that we brought to the manager’s attention and she responded immediately. Would recommend to other groups!

Every thing about this house was amazing !! Our family of 17 throughly enjoyed this spacious house-having two kitchens that were stocked with everything you could ever need and so many tables and chairs allowed us to all be in one area with lots of room- plenty of towels, coffee pots, beds and bathrooms. The extras like air hockey, pool table, shuffleboard table and the theater room were over the top!! Not to mention the view of the beautiful lake through all the great windows!! If you need a house for a large family gathering this is the place !! We will be returning!!

Lots of room, comfortable bed, beautiful location. There was no firewood as advertised and the kitchen stove igniter did not work. Happy with the kitchen dishes and utensils though. The leafs all over the driveway made walking up or down dangerous. I would consider staying again.

Lake trip 2021
We enjoyed out stay at this beautiful property. myself and 4 girlfriends spent 4 nights at this property. Finding the property was a very big challenge. Host did mention it would be hard to find but it took us several trips past the driveway to finally figure out where it was. Yes the driveway is STEEP! We had quite a bit of trouble getting the door code entered and door opened. The property is very much as depicted in the description. Very nice furnishings and the view is terrific. Fire pit and dock are magnificent. Unfortunately it rained quite a bit during our stay so we didn't get to use. We did use the game room and it was awesome to have it especially with the lake front view. Came in real handy during rainy days. We are all retired and over 60 and found that the shower in master very slippery. shower in the 2nd main floor bedroom was like an old shower insert from a RV. Also very slippery and very small. Our main complaint was the taking out of trash. The bins are located at to of drive that is way to steep for us to climb so we had to put trash in our car and drive it to bins. We did not use the movie room. All in all the property is great and I would recommend. There is alot of room for large groups.

Fantastic property!
I have stayed in many VRBO’s both with family and for corporate stays. This VRBO was very clean and well kept. Met and exceeded expectations. We came here with family for a quick getaway. This was the most well equipped VRBO I have ever stayed in. Keyla was very responsive and helpful.

Great quiet home, perfect for families!
The house was great for our families - it has so much space that we never felt like we were on top of each other. The kids could play, the adults had space, and we had enough room to get everyone together for meals and games. We loved the movie room, and the kids loved the bunk room. It was a great place - we would go again. However, there was wear and tear. The microwave was weird. We had to hold the door in place for it to work, and sometimes it would turn on just when we held the door in place and the timer wasn't on. Also, the dishwasher stopped in the middle several times. We kept an eye on it after that. The first aid kit was empty. Stuff that doesn't ruin the trip, but I just want to let you know. The location was SO QUIET. If you like calm, and a large safe space for kids to swim, this is it! We liked all the spaces - the swing by the hot tub, the decks, the fire pits, and game area, the movie room. We never felt cramped. We loved the quiet throughout the day. I recommend this place - especially if you have kids.

In pandemic times, we knew we wouldn't be going anywhere, so it was essential to have a house with room to spread out and things to do. We loved this house! The movie room was incredible, and used daily. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was room to spread for our kids to continue virtual school. The kids loved their bunk room. We managed a little fishing off the dock, but most time was spent indoors. We would definitely rent this property again!

The property manager sent the incorrect code to get into the house. When we arrived at the house and couldn't get in, we called her and she didn't answer. The office didn't know how to get in the house or what the code was. We were finally able to find someone to change the code and let us in. Lost daylight and vacation time. The dishwasher was broken when we arrived. It smelled awful and would not drain. The property manager would not respond to our requests to have it fixed. It took three days to have someone look at it, and they admitted they don't fix them. Needless to say it didn't get fixed during the week we stayed there, we questioned the cleanliness of any of the dishes, not knowing if they were put in the dishwasher before we came. Ended up wasting more vacation time to clean some dishes that we wanted to use and go to the store to get paper products so we didn't need to wash everything by hand everyday. During a pandemic, it would be nice to have some confidence that the place you stay is clean. Wish the property manager was responsive and helpful. The area is very pretty, recommend the area, just not the house.

This property was absolutely amazing the pictures don’t do it justice! We had five adults and eight kids and plenty of space to spread out. We all enjoyed the game room, theatre room and hot tub. No one was ever bored with all the amenities this house has to offer. As an added bonus we got very lucky and had 85 degree weather in October so the kids were able to enjoy the paddle board, kayaks and swimming on the Lilly pad while the adults enjoyed hanging out on the dock. This house was by far one of the cleanest vacation homes I have rented. A another unique feature of this home is the basic necessities they provide that I have had to either bring with me or buy at every other home I have rented. There was antibacterial soap in every bathroom and kitchen and there was plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. Dish soap and dishwasher pods and plenty of trash bags were also provided. Keyla the property manager was awesome to work with and was very helpful when I booked the property. We will definitely rent this home again.

We had 17 in all in our group and the property was perfect, more than enough space for all, could easily add a few more and still have some quiet areas. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook and serve meals, plenty of towels, and blankets. With 2 washer/dryers available you can pack light! The dock was fabulous, loved the lily pad (missed the trampoline but must be an old pic), the paddle bd and kayaks. The seating on the dock is shaded and comfy. Keyla was very responsive to all questions. We will be back!

This home was absolutely Beautiful. It had more then enough space for our family of 16. By having 2 kitchens, theater room, game room, boat dock that supplied paddle boats (life vests) fishing poles and a lily pad there wasn’t a bored moment for any of us. Amazing property, great location!
This is a beautiful house and property located in a quiet cove that was a perfect spot for swimming, fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. The house has plenty of space and everything we needed to comfortably accommodate 5 families. We especially loved the waterfront fire pit and spent every evening out there. Keyla the property manager was so responsive and great to work with. We will definitely stay again!

We SO enjoy this property. In 2021 we have booked a house with more bedrooms and I'm almost hesitant about going there because it is an area that is SO much more populated. We loved that this house made us feel as if we were isolated. We'll see..... :) My only concerns were the safety issues of the railing on the deck outside the kitchen and the railing along the stairs leading to the lake. We had a couple minor problems....we never did get the lock to open right by punching the numbers and the coffee pots were extremely slow. I'm sure I already communicated these things to you right after our visit. We have enjoyed these trips so much....I was on the computer looking up some stuff the other day and my 9 year old grandson wanted to know if I was making arrangements for our next "lake trip?" <3

80th Birthday
Spent the week celebrating our mother's 80th birthday with the whole family. Everyone was very excited and the expectations were high based off the write-up and photos. The house and vacation did not disappoint. Big house with lots of room for everyone. One of the few that has enough seats and tables in the dining area for the whole family at one time. The location was great and very easy to get to everything, marina, stores, golf and hiking. The dock with the seating and table was a particularly popular place to hang out. The process went very easily and the managers were good to work with. Already planning our next vacation in the area!
