"I never expected to be so pleased with my stay. I’d been reading reviews of properties trying to find somewhere clean and safe for solo travel. This property was a pleasant surprise. I will say there was a slight stale-ish odor when I arrives but it’s August in Alabama and the ac was turned off when I arrived. That explained that. The property is in a great location, easy to find, not too close to any surrounding businesses to be bothersome or noisy. Staff were wonderfully helpful. Breakfast was good. I only wish the property was closer to my destination so I could stay there for the remainder of my stay in AL."

"Only stayed here one night but it felt amazing. Check in girl was friendly and had some banter (nice after driving a while) and the place was really clean. It had a nice chair and a little chair to sit sit on. We only stayed for the night but this was our favorite place by far and I'd recommend checking it out. Price was great. And on check out it was the only time a staff asked how the stay was (bonus points to you sir). Would check out again. Also the breakfast was great there was even a waffle maker."

"The Lodge is a great place to stay. We spent most of our time playing in the pool and the grandkids loved the game room as well. The guys went skeet shooting one afternoon and the kids fished off the pier. Lots of space to spread out."
