Highly recommended - perfect holiday location.

From checking in the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was wonderful. They were having a renovation at the time of our holiday, but it was no issue at all, and didnt affect our stay. The location was perfect for us as it had local conveniences and restaurants. It is also situated not too far from St Ives and Newquay beach. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay….

The inside of the hotel was beautifully decorated and clean, all employees we met were friendly and helpful. The room was wonderfully decorated, especially loved the bathroom. Everything was very clean and tidy inside, however the outside was a bit disappointing and gives an impression opposite to the inside and the actual stay. Could do with a lick of paint and tidy up the front, the side parking and the garden area. Otherwise was a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone.

10-day break

Very well run hotel with friendly and very helpful staff. Plenty of parking and easy access to all local routes for sight-seeing and adventures. Five minute walk to train station for anyone wishing to travel by train. Hotel is currently being extended and modernized but this did not affect our comfort at all. Room (located on the front was east-facing and very warm in the morning when sun rose through large window. Room stayed warm all day and would be 'uncomfortable' at night on a very warm day. Breakfast was superb but we only ate once. Would recommend and considering a return visit.

The hotel needs a upgrade. Cleanliness is bellow standards and the room had strange odour as well as the rest of the building. The only thing that was positive is that the linen looked clean and smelled fresh, but everything else from the mould in the room, to the mould in the shower as well as the used preservative under the bed and used tissue by the window were a pure disappointment! I am very unlikely to book this hotel again and Expedia should take it off their list!

Hotel was spotless, friendly welcome nothing too much trouble breakfast was very nice, can’t fault it. Would definitely stay there again. Price very reasonable.

Lowenac Camborne.

Very comfortable. Free parking and close to town center was one of the reasons I chose it, the other being free WIFI, always helpful in this day and age. Beautiful wide country house staircase, but a lift would have been useful as we had heavy cases.

Great little find in Camborne

This was a return visit, on first impression the place is very normal ,we drove past it once the first time we stayed, This is because its only has a few rooms and is not a big fancy hotel; However! the rooms are lovely and clean, showers have great pressure (which I find a lot of hotels do not have) the staff (owners) great and it could not be more friendly. Breakfast is excellent and the bar is nice and small for cozy drinks, its an old building so a little noisy in the corridors but nothing that kept us awake, highly recommend.

Had a long weekend with the other half and her daughter. Lovely hotel . Bed really comfy and rooms really well decorated. Had a drink in the bar. Was just us. The barman richard was amazing. Had us laughing all night and was very helpful. Thanks for the cocktails . Mrs loved them lol will stay again

We had an amazing stay at The Lowenac Hotel, The room was huge with a four poster bed and large bathroom it was spotless and very comfy, The staff were excellent and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect they made us feel like part of the family and had the best local knowledge, everything in Camborne is within walking distance loads of good places to eat and friendly people It really was a lovely stay with lovely people Thank you

Great hotel, great location, great people.

Can not praise this hotel and their staff enough. The owner and all the staff are fantastic, great people, very helpful and welcoming. Had a great time here, really felt a community vibe, speaking regularly to them about the days and suggestions. Not your normal check in and check out and nothing in-between. Have recommended to friends and family and will be coming back! Oh and the food and drinks are as good as this review. Top notch.
