How many ways can you say perfection … we just spent 22 days in paradise May 28-June 19th at the Galeotti Casale in Camaoire, Italy and look forward to a return. Our hosts, owners Simone and Angela were beyond amazing, and their awe-inspiring property, their magnificent gardens and the delectable food they prepared were simply superb!
My husband, sister, best friend and myself rented one of their two apartments for 22 days. We each had a private bedroom (ours with a 2nd private shower) that shared the kitchen, living room and bathroom. We also rented their second apartment (next to ours) for a family reunion with our cousin, her husband, and their two sons 17 and 13 for several days and had the perfect family reunion.
The property is located in a quiet little borough with breathtaking views of the mountains. It is located in walking distance to the town with local markets, bakeries and a beautiful old church. Their lovely pool, a delightful respite. Our hosts made us feel like family and were so helpful and pleasant to deal with. Dinners were made extra special not just because of the outstanding meals but the most beautifully tables set out in the garden with flowing fountains and fire-place glowing. Simone’s pizza and breads were delicious. And they assisted in arranging private day trips with private drivers and guides from their property to Florence, Pisa, the Carrara marble mountains, Sienna, Collodi, the beach and more, each was spectacular and brilliant. We even enjoyed going into town to the local movie theatre and saw Top Gun Maverik (easy enough to follow) in Italian.
From the moment I booked this vacation in April 2021, I communicated with Angela who made me feel assured she would do everything to make it a wonderful time… and she and Simone did just that. Meeting them and our stay was a blessing and one we hope to repeat in the future. I would highly recommend their property for your next get-a-way. Simply the Best!
