"This is a unique property spread over several acres of vineyards. There are multiple units to choose from & we stayed in the cottage. This was a lovely independent stone cottage overlooking the sea with a loft bedroom, kitchen and living room. It was a very special stay during our time on Madeira & we can’t recommend it enough. We had dinner at their restaurant - which was phenomenal & your stay also includes a wonderful breakfast buffet with lots of choices. There are two lovely pools that...

"Good stay in this authentic house. Fernanda welcome you with gifts in her house. Everything you need is there. The place is quiet and relaxing. "Pros: Ruime woonruimte met tuin gedeeltelijk in de zon waardoor niet al te warm. Altijd parkeergelegenheid voor de deur. Haven met restaurants waar je elke avond voor weinig en veel keuze heerlijk kunt eten. Cons: Slaapkamer is beneden aan de straat/parkeerterrein waar ook werklieden met vrachtauto's en trekkers langskomen; dit leverde veel geluid op. Voor verblijf met >2 personen onhandige verdeling met badkamer toilet alleen bereikbaar via slaapkamer beneden."

"This is an excellent luxury villa, with a large pool, great garden and good facilities. You do need a car as there is very little in walking distance, but it is only 10 minutes to Calheta and the drive is easy. The kitchen was very well equipped, and all the furnishing are of a high standard. The nearest decent supermarket is 30 mins drive, but it is again easy to find. There a many great walks you can drive to within 30 mins but not too much on the doorstep. The host was excellent and communication very clear. Given the weather in Maderia, you do need to have the pool heated, it isn't cheap but is a necessity, so factor that into the costs. We loved the table tennis table, spin bike and weights in the garage. we didn't know they would be there and its one of the things we really appreciated, so we hope they will remain available in future. We would highly recommend this Villa and hope to go back in the future."
