"Timberline Lodge in Arnold is a nice hotel conveniently located along CA-4. It was very close to Calaveras Big Trees State Park. There are a good number of restaurants catering to different cuisines. Our favorites were Bistro Espresso and Sarafina’s Italian Restaurant. The lodge itself looks newly renovated and well maintained. The amenities met our needs. The only problem we had was with the air conditioning. It was a hot weekend in August with temperature in the 90’s and the a/c wasn’t cooling enough. The chilly night time air took care of cooling the room with the windows open. All in all, it was a good experience for us. Highly recommended."

"Beautiful, spacious, cabin in a beautiful location. Lots for families to do! The garage had darts, foosball, corn holl, and ping pong, which was fun! The deck was perfect for outdoor hangouts and the kitchen was well equipped. Overall, great stay! It was also nice to have the pool and lake nearby."

"The House was very clean, will equipped and we really enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the morning. We only wish we could have had more time to enjoy the house. We were out for most of the days with family."

"Sharin was an incredible host and made our stay at this massive gem of a cabin incredibly special. I would highly recommend checking out Arnold CA and this cabin in particular. The close access to national parks, downtown music, and the community amenities made this a perfect home away from home. Protip: stop at the Big Trees grocery (8 min drive) to stock up during your visit on any essentials."

"Cozy, fun, and easy drive to town. No pool access but close to White Pines lake. Host was responsive and place was clean and lots of activities to do. Love the wrap around deck facing the big trees."
