「There was nothing to dislike, but everything to like. The room was clean and very comfortable, the owners went out of their way to make sure everything was satisfactory. Check in was easy and right from the start we felt relaxed and "at home".」

「Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...
