ザバラハウスは、フィンカフロールマールと呼ばれる緑豊かなオーガニックコーヒーファームにあります。 この100エーカーの農場では、有機アラビカコーヒー、オオバコ、バナナ、マンゴー、ライム、スターフルーツ、アボカドが生産されています。

家には、蝶と在来の鳥で賑わう豊富なマンゴー＆ライムの果樹園が陰になっています。

We loved our stay. Close to Monteverde for lots of outings. It only takes about 15 min to drive. We enjoyed our walks with Bella the Shepard through the coffee fields and listening to Coco the blue and gold macaw call for her back. Ken was great and always available if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again!

It is very unique house.Beautifully build by local builders who used local wood.It is spacious well equipped .Ken and his Family were very helpful during our short stay.If we visit this area again we would like to stay there again.

My wife and I spent a wonderful week here exploring Monteverde and its environs. The well appointed property is situated on a coffee plantation about 20 minutes drive from Santa Elena which has plenty of grocery stores and places to eat. It is about 30 minutes from the various rainforest reserves. Combined with the birding on the coffee plantation this makes it an ideal location for birders...or you can relax and bird from the patio. Host was warm and hospitable and always happy to help. Responsive. House was well furnished with lots of bedding and towels, etc. Location was quiet and a little remote so definitely need your own transportation, but overall it was a very pleasant stay further aided by the host's hospitality.

Our family enjoyed our stay and found it peaceful. The host was really helpful and his instructions to find the place were perfect. It is about 20 minutes drive from Santa Elena and most attractions in the area. It was great being on a coffee farm as we had learnt about coffee production in Arenal before going to Monteverde. One of our group likes a dishwasher (there isn’t one) but the rest of us don’t mind handwashing. Most places we stayed in Costa Rica had no dishwasher. There were 2 bathrooms and most of us preferred the master bedroom bathroom as it was nicer.

Ken (the owner) was so easy to work with….communication was excellent. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay….walking the plantations with his dog Bella, and sightseeing at El Tigre and into Monterverde town to eat at restaurants. The only complaint was the potholes in the mountain roads. Crazy driving in the mountains vs. beach areas. It was worth the trip though.

We received a very welcoming from Ken and his son Juan Diego. Juan was very helpful for connecting us to make visiting Monteverde easier. And we loved Bella and Coco. The house could use little more lighting some lightbulbs are burn out, location is great not too far from town. .

We ( 3 adults and 2 8-yr olds) recently spent several nights in this wonderful house. The house was open, spacious and had room for all. We enjoyed walking around on the grounds and observing all the birds and butterflies. My granddaughter's had many grand adventures following Bella the dog around the property. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near Monteverde!

We had a great experience at Kenneth's place. He gave us great information in regards where to go in Monteverde. His farm was filled with the sounds of the forest. Greeted by parrots stopping by every morning was such fun. His pet Blue and Gold parrot was fun to talk to as we missed ours from home. Kenneth was great to chat with, we really enjoyed the conversation with a local. We came to find out we have many commonalities. It was comforting to know he was there, if he were needed. We would return and reccomend it highly.

Thank you Ken and Yami for a wonderful 5 nights. We enjoyed it from the moment we arrived. Ken was very helpful in getting us to his location and it was easy to find, we used Waze and his additional instructions. Certainly best to arrive during daylight hours. He welcomed us with lots of information and insight. The kids loved the property and going out to see their dog Bella and bird Coco each morning and afternoon. I loved walking the property down to the farm and seeing the lovely views. There were two toys in the house that the kids loved to play with while we stayed, in addition to others we brought. Wifi was excellent. We enjoyed being a bit outside the main city but also close enough (20 min) drive to all the attractions in Monteverde. Thank you again for your hospitality!

This property was perfect for our family of 6 (17yoB, 15yoG, 13yoG, 9yoG). As noted in the descriptions, finding it took some connection with Ken due to its unique location, however we had the same 'challenge' at all the VRBOs we stayed at so maybe it is just a me thing :-). Everyone had their own space enabling them an opportunity to stretch out of some driving days. You are literally staying on acres of farmland so you have to be comfortable with what that provides you - access to lots of birds and wildlife (we saw toucans, numerous varieties of parakeets, and a beautiful coffee plantation) Ken was incredibly helpful with updating and securing our activities as we were a little behind schedule + he provided some great recommendations (locally and around CR)

We were greeted by Bella, the family's dog. She followed us everywhere for the 2 days we were there. The house is big, great for large groups. Kitchen is alright. It could be cleaner overall but nothing gross. You gotta be ready to deal with bugs as they're big gaps under the doors. No mesh in the windows. We had to deal with a scorpio, a frog, a big ass spider and a bat ! We walked around in the coffee farm, it really is a beautiful place, super quiet. about 20 min to Santa Elena

We loved staying at this house. Walk on property was really fun. Convenient to Monteverde activities. Ken was very welcoming and provided recommendations etc.
