"Great centralized location for Hatteras & Frisco beaches, Avon, Ocracoke excursions. Close enough to be convenient, but not in the middle of everything! Although, the 2 car parking is right off of hwy 12, traffic can be tricky, just have patience. Eclecticly decorated, nothing fancy, very comfortable, cute, & quaint. Fully stocked kitchen with dishes, pots, pans, etc & a keurig with pods & tea bags ready for use. (note: no dishwasher) White fluffy towels & complimentary toiletries to wash off the salt water from the ocean. The water temp can fluctuate. The bed, amazing! Very comfortable, sleeps wonderfully with fluffy pillows! Spacious living room that we set up our large dog kennel for our 2 45/50 lbs pups & it was not in the way. Our host was thoughtful, pleasant, & is very helpful!"

"It was a clean space with great views- the sun sets over the waterway which you can watch from the back porch and you can see the sound from the top floor. The sheets are folded instead of on the bed when you arrive so you know that they are fresh and unused. There are two jacuzzi tubs and a hot tub. 3 full and 2 1/2 baths which is impressive. A large living space to spend time in and lots of room for dining.Overall it was a great space to kick back after a long day of adventures and we wished we could stay longer.Thank you for being pet friendly!!"

"Owner's communication was excellent and house was homey and well loved, I felt like I was at my family cottage in Michigan, not the most updated but that's part of the charm. Overall we had everything we needed... the one downfall was the home was advertised as 2 queen bedrooms and one room with two twins... the queen beds were not queen beds, perhaps not even fulls? I even measured to make sure I wasn't losing it. This made sleep difficult and was relatively disappointing. Nevertheless, we throughly enjoyed our time, would recommend, would stay again... but would maybe arrange rooms a bit different."

"Maybe alittle more attention to the outside as well as alittle more attention to cleaning. The grass was very tall but manageable for our dog. The outdoor shower was filled with spider webs and debris and not able to use due to that. Very little outdoor seating. 2 outdoor chairs were broken. The garbage out in the back by the shower is a very big eye sore as well as the lock box on the deck. The microwave had food splatter in it. The dishwasher had sitting water and food scraps in it. We had to deep clean it before using it. Under the beds were very dirty with garage, fur and dust. There was garabge scattered all over the property from beer cans under the deck to plastic bags in trees. With having a cleaning fee we are highly disappointed to have to come in a clean during dinner time right before our children's bed time. Not an ideal situation If these things were taken care of this property would be alot more appealing for future guest. Unfortunately coming with small children and a dog these are the main points we are looking for in a rental and due to the lack of we will not be booking again."
