Timber Bay Lake House

"We had a wonderful stay at Timber Bay Lake House and would happily return. The home was exceptionally clean, which is one of the first things we notice when traveling. There was no dust, dirt, or buildup inside, and it was obvious that the cleaning team takes great pride in their work. The house felt fresh, comfortable, and very well cared for.The property itself was also beautifully maintained. While there were a few cobwebs outdoors and some natural leaves or debris around the grounds, it was clear these were simply from the outdoor environment and not from a lack of attention or care. The owners clearly love this home and work hard to keep it in excellent .Overall, this was a perfect 10/10 stay. The cleanliness, comfort, and care put into the home were evident throughout our visit. We truly appreciated the hospitality and hope to stay here again in the future.God bless and thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us."

"We stayed in a beautiful home about 15–20 minutes from Burnet with a stunning view of Lake Buchanan. The porch was the highlight — watching the sun set over the water was spectacular. The neighborhood was quiet and full of deer, which the girls loved. They also enjoyed the bubble bath after long days outside.First morning we booked a charter with Bosstriper Guide Service and Captain Graham. He was professional, fun, and great at keeping the kids engaged. We caught six nice-sized striped bass to keep and eat. Toward the end of the trip he took us to a secluded waterfall that looked perfect for cliff diving. Highly recommend Graham if you’re fishing Lake Buchanan with kids.We also rode at Spider Mountain. Service was outstanding and the lift was a blast. The trails were a bit too advanced for my daughters given their limited bike experience, so keep that in mind if you’re bringing newer riders. The bike shop had the necessities (rentals, helmets, basics) but not a huge selection beyond that.We spent time at Inks Lake State Park as well — easy, pretty, and a nice contrast to the more structured activities.For food, Warehouse BBQ and Meetery in Burnet was worth the wait. They sold out around 12:45 p.m., so get there early. Solid Hill Country BBQ.Overall it was a great family weekend: lake views, good fishing, some mountain biking, and plenty of wildlife. Would stay again and would book Graham again in a heartbeat."

"We were looking for a special place to celebrate my wife’s birthday with our children and grandchildren. Water is a key ingredient for celebration. This house is all about the lake. You walk into the upstairs and see an expanse of water through a wall of glass. The children watched the changes of light in sky and water as if in a trance. we enjoyed lots of swimming and paddle boarding.A really good fit for our group!1"
