Eli was helpful for for our late arrival (2am). He got us extra towels for the children, pillows and fresh blankets for the pull-out bed. Breakfast was plentiful and filling. I'd prefer the old school coffee pot versus the digital automatic ones. They were slow. Lisa, the front decimal and Liz front desk receptionist were very helpful when we checked out. Chased me down to give me a cart. And found a lost inhaler that my daughter left extra. Thanks to Lisa, Liz and Eli!!!!!

I have to say, the night shift receptionist was the nicest, kindest person ever. In all the hotels we’ve ever stayed at, she treated us the best. She was very professional and made sure we were attended right away and was so sweet. I would stay here again just because of she treated my family and I. I didn’t get her name but she has short hair.

This historic Texas Hotel is beautiful! We did some exploring, so many beautiful painting, antique furniture, beautiful Chandeliers, and more.... The Pool was very nice, plenty of room to play or lay out, Rooms were clean and roomy, the balcony over the pool was great! Highly recommend to those who like the Texas history and enjoy exploring!! Close to the riverwalk and the Alamo, too!

The hotel was in the perfect location next to the Alamo and walking distance to the River Walk. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay downtown!
