"This is a beautiful place to stay! It's a great location and a wonderful old building. The rooms are charming with all the thoughtful little touches you could want, and the views of the river are so nice. The immediate surroundings of the hotel were not great, but once inside everything was fresh and bright.The room was very clean and seemed to have been redecorated fairly recently. "OK, let's get things straight. This is a super cheap hotel in an excellent location in a capital city. SO, do not expect anything less than adequate having paid pennies for it. It says excellent as it says on the tin and the bad reviews are correct but out of context. I paid £24 in a capital city......bedroom was adequate and private bathroom (although seperate) was adequate. I stayed in room 6 and I would not feel safe leaving any valuable things in that room due to the door being shabby but...
