"So we picked The Gap house because the pictures looked intriguing and we wanted something close to our family. It looked like it had a decent outdoor space. When we got there we realized the pictures could not tell the whole picture. The back yard was amazing. The house was full of character, clean and had great little touches that show that the hosts really care. The hosts parents live next door and they are so helpful and just loved on our family. They are the best. I want to come back again...

"We were in town to visit our daughter in college and extended family. The property was just what we needed. We had one minor issue that the owner addressed right away. My only recommendation would be to have a broom and dust pan available. Our youngest isn’t the neatest eater and a broom would have been helpful to clean up after her. 😀"

"If you like to be surrounded by wood, this is your place. We felt like we were in a mountain cabin, yet we were in the middle of the city. Everything worked great especially the air conditioner!! Decor was really interesting and was fun to investigate. We like to cook and it had everything we needed for a nice meal. Location was perfect near the college and the downtown area. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Abilene."

"We were so pleasantly surprised how serene Mimi’s House was. A beautiful backyard for conversation and bird listening.
