The door handle was broken in the front, there was ants all over the counter, not a very clean apartment, dusty and seemed like no one’s stayed there in a while. "We struggled with the decision between the Marriott Beach resort and Coral Luxury Estate. We are glad we chose the latter. However, if you are from the US, you need to prepare yourself for the relative nature of the term luxury. In the US, it might be rated a three star +. Take a few extra towels, trash bags,A make-up mirror, your own shampoo, conditioner & soft toilet paper that is septic safe. They do not have tissues in the room, so remember those as well. Be prepared to to pay for food or beverages in order to use the pool or the beach front chairs. If you have these realistic expectations, addressed ahead of time, I believe you will likely enjoy your stay. The lodging staff is friendly, and the views are wonderful. The restaurant is only ok in our opinion, they are managed separately."
