"Getting in the property through the main door can be challenging (steps and doors are in the way when you are carrying luggage) but we found out that there a door on the side which is a lot easier to get in. Overall very nice, the room was some smaller than expected. We had a nice time at the spa. Definitely recommended if you stay in Hood River."

"This is an old building. It reminds me of the one that the homeless people stay in in downtown Portland. Apparently, if you use the toilet paper in your room, they charge you an amenity fee. Lots of stairs. There are lots of other places to stay."

"This is a magical place in the middle of no where. Staff is amazing. Location is amazing. The set up is a lot of walking and good for all the visitors. The walls are very thin tho. "This was the cleanest hotel room that I have experienced. Also, the bed was quite comfortable, with a firm mattress and very fresh linens. The shower was supplied with a wonderful, rum-scented shower gel & shampoo/conditioner. Though the bathroom was somewhat small, for the price of this room (Rm. 203) it was adequate. Viewing the lovely garden space outside gave a peaceful vibe to our stay. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. We plan to return! "
