"The view was amazing. Most of the staff was great. The restaurant had amazing food. Plenty of towels. Robes and slippers. Overall it was wonderful. It could have been a little cleaner. And our Keurig maker was on the fritz. But I would definitely stay here again."
"Just finished a five night stay. Chris and Gretchen are amazing hosts, very friendly, warm and helpful. it was quiet relaxing and a great base for exploring the Columbia Gorge. Breakfasts were good, the rooms comfortable. It felt peaceful and calm. Having the patio space to read and have a beverage of our choice added to the calm atmosphere. With our planning and Chris and Gretchen's recommendations it made for a memorable vacation."
"NOTE:They really should market this as adults only. Be advised that you must be 18 or older to use the pool. They have this written in the fine print but we neglected to read.
NOTE: If you want an early check in, let them know in advance. They are sticklers about this!
The staff at the front desk could use some training. Not the friendliest. No sense of humor. Not very accommodating. Just be prepared. I am guessing they are over worked and overwhelmed. Tired.
Property is a little on the run down side and probably has seen better days. Be prepared for lots of stairs.
Bed was hard and there wasn’t a sheet between the bottom fitted sheet and the comforter. Both our queen beds were made up this way, so we think that is their standard.
Restaurant is a good long walk up a hill. It was too far away after long days of hiking, so we ended up driving and eating in Stevenson both nights which is about an 8 minute drive.
On the very positive side, the price was soooo much less expensive than the other more popular resort in Stevenson. We weren’t in the rooms much so if you are looking for a place to get some sleep, not a bad deal. You get what you pay for. There was also a nice fire pit and some chairs and tables outside to play games in the evening. We didn’t use the provided white robes in the rooms, but saw lots of people walking around in them. They had some gorgeous baskets of flowers along with an old tub filled with flowers which added some color and personality."
Postcard Cabins Mount Adams, Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our cabin stay. There is a kitchenette, refrigerator, shower, heat, A/C in the cabin. (The description online didn't capture all the amenities.) Having some tea and hot cocoa provided along with firewood was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable. This was a glamping experience - good for a couple. No space for more than 2 people. We would recommend and return!"
