The staff was amazing. I stayed in a private room for 2 nights. The staff was helpful with every question. Including helping me with bus service and arranging a rafting trip. The breakfast was delicious. One night was pizza night where we enjoyed pizza by the pool. I would definitely stay here again.

Monkey is an amazing Hostal! I stayed in a private room which was spacious and super clean! They have an amazing breakfast for just 5,000 pesos! They explain you everything about San Gil an offer amazing tours! Don’t think about it! Book it !

Place to be in San Gil

Great huge comfortable beds with curtains and nice lockers. Any type of tour you want they can definitely help you out with good prices. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is at the end of town which is good and bad. Bad for walking there but quieter. Highly recommended, would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was 7,500 pesos and smoothies for 5,000. Laundry was expensive in my opinion at 8,000 a kg, but many places in Colombia are charging that.
