「I only rated the staff and service low (it is not directly the ONE woman or her service) However, they have check in from 3pm to 2am which is nice but there is only one staff person working from Friday to Sunday. Now that ONE person has to (try) and stay awake til 2am every day AND clean rooms and put breakfast out. They absolutely need more help as one person is NOT enough. 「This is my favorite place to stay in the Rice Lake area. It is a charming lodge tucked away in a quiet spot right on the lake. Expect beautiful vistas year round. Each room is designed uniquely, several are pet friendly. Each has a view of and access to the lake. The staff/owners are friendly and accommodating. There are complementary non-motorized water activities in the summer and nightly campfires. Breakfast is fruit and a locally baked scone. There is nothing hotel-chain about this place. 」
