"Great hotel!"

"First off there was an adult cockroach in my room. The mattress was clearly old as it had way too much give and i could hear the springs when i sat on it. There was a little piece of toilet paper on the floor of the bathroom and long strands of hair on the back of the hair dryer. The worst part was that the whole stay, the room was in between 78 and 75 degrees. I thought that it was because on saturday it was almost 100 degrees so I didnt say anything. The day I checked out it was 60 degress outside and my room was still 75 degrees. Obviously something was wrong. When I checked out at the front desk they had a fan to cool them so I thought maybe the AC in the building was getting old or something. The past 3 times I have stayed here it was regular price. This time I went on hotels.com and got a deal. I assumed it was the same quality of room as before just at a discount as the original price it said was about what i usually pay. I feel like this was a bait and switch. The breakfast staff was wonderful as usual. Overall, a disappointing stay except for breakfast being the highlight."

"Pool could barely be swam in because of the strong chlorine odor that lingered. "

"Terrible. There was shaved hair in our sink. The sink was stopped up. Hair on the bed. Outlets did not work. Blood (yes blood) on the door. We spoke after our initial entry to the front desk person about our sink not working, and she could not care less. "

"Lots of noise from outside our unit by guests of the hotel. Till well after 1 a.m."

"Gum was stuck to the closet door in our room right where someone typically grabs so I almost stuck my hand in it when we arrived and I was trying to open the closet door. Gross. We also asked right when we arrived if a late check out was an option because it would be helpful for us with our swim meet on our last day in Topeka. They said yes and wrote our room number down. The day of check out I double checked the time and they said no we can’t have late check out. Even though it was confirmed we could upon arrival. We had to rush back upstairs grab everything and run to our swim meet. Horrible experience. Wouldn’t stay here again due to service."
